Level 3 Arboriculturist – Essex

Role Overview

This is a full-time, primarily office-based role for a qualified Arboriculturist, with occasional opportunities for remote work. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing UAV (Drone) aerial survey data, identifying species, and producing precise vegetation management plans that balance environmental sustainability with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret UAV (Drone) survey footage of lineside environments
  • Accurately identify tree species and assess vegetation health
  • Categorise vegetation types and assess potential risk
  • Produce safe, efficient, and sustainable work prescriptions within time-critical frameworks
  • Collaborate with operational teams to support project delivery

Key Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
  • Strong tree identification skills and understanding of tree health, physiology, and disease
  • Experience with vegetation risk management practices
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team
  • Strong IT proficiency and reporting capability
  • Full UK driving licence
  • LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection certification (desirable)
  • Prior experience with tree inspections and surveys (desirable)

Location Requirement:

Candidates should live within the Essex, as regular office attendance is expected.
